VDS PrintManager - v1.3.0.155

NOTE: This release requires a manual UNINSTALL of previous versions of VDS PrintManager.

After uninstalling the previous version run the 1.3.0.155 installer.

The uninstall / install process should not remove any printer or VDS PrintManager related settings.

FIX

• Print job IDs are now cached to avoid duplicate prints
• If no printers were registered the service could return an error
• The service couldn't be stopped if you never logged in from VDS PrintManager Config
• Print slips will now word wrap

IMPROVEMENTS

• Service accounts are now reapplied to the VDS PrintManager service during upgrade
• 64-bit and 32-bit versions now available
• VDS Print Manager now prompts to restart after registering a printer
• If disconnected the VPM service will now try to restart every 45 seconds instead of every 3 minutes
• Changed the VDS PrintManager service start up type from Automatic to Automatic (Delayed Start) to mitigate startup issues on slower workstations
• Auto refresh the tenant info after entering a new login
• Unregistering a printer will now refresh the unregistered printer list
• VDS PrintMonitor now starts after initial installation of software

COSMETICS

• Modified the "reboot service" text to be more user friendly
• The date time in the print slip header is now the incident creation date time
• Increased the photo size on print slips to 128 x 128 pixels
• Added the PerfectPass logo to the print slip header
• Slip length is now determined dynamically based on slip content
• Added advanced printer configuration screen (RIGHT CLICK a registered printer) to configure extra paper and margins
