Resetting an IDMS user account password is a twostep process.
First, log in to IDMS with an admin account.
Record the user permissions and delete the user
- Click Security -> Examine User
- Select the Login ID from the droplist -> OK
- Make note of the selected permissions
- Click Delete -> Yes
Create the new user account with permissions
- Security -> Add User
- Enter the case sensitive Login ID and password (8 character limit) and select the permissions
- Click OK to save the new user
