Resetting an IDMS user account password is a twostep process.


First, log in to IDMS with an admin account.

 

Record the user permissions and delete the user

  1. Click Security -> Examine User
  2. Select the Login ID from the droplist -> OK
  3. Make note of the selected permissions
  4. Click Delete -> Yes

 

Create the new user account with permissions

  1. Security -> Add User
  2. Enter the case sensitive Login ID and password (8 character limit) and select the permissions
  3. Click OK to save the new user
