WHAT IS RAPIDSCAN?

RAPIDSCAN is a semi-attended incident assignment mode that lets you choose the incident before looking up the student. It is useful for situations where the same incident type will be assigned repeatedly to many students, such as late to school or early dismissal.


Search by ID number, first, last, or custom field.


For best results we recommend using an ID scanner.

HOW DOES IT DIFFER FROM KIOSK MODE? RAPIDSCAN is a mode within PerfectPass that provides full access to PerfectPass after closing the RAPIDSCAN modal window. Kiosk Mode does not provide access to PerfectPass and is for unattended environments.



START RAPIDSCAN

Open the Dashboard, then click RAPIDSCAN.

SELECT AN INCIDENT AND SCAN
  1. Click the SELECT AN INCIDENT drop list then choose an incident from the list
        -Change the incident at any time by re-selecting an incident from the list
  2. Click on the search field
  3. Scan student ID cards


When finished, click DONE.

Search

To permit searching by first name, last name, or custom field, click the search droplist and enable the fields.


Confirm Identity

For added verification RapIDscan can display the ID photo before the incident is assigned. To enable this feature turn on Confirm Identity.

Confirm Identity should not be used while RapIDscan is unattended as it requires additional action by the PerfectPass user.

Date/Time Override

Use the date/time override option to assign the incident using the specified override date.


Clear the specified override date by clicking the X icon.
