Students can be manually assigned to detentions by selecting the detention date and time from the Add an Incident calendar. The Auto-Assign Detentions option (found in PerfectPass Settings) must be disabled to allow manual detention assignment.


Manual detention assignments adhere to the incident rule base and cannot be overridden by the user.


  1. Assign an incident to a student

  2. The detention calendar picker will appear

    A blue box indicates an available detention date

  3. Select a detention date to show available meeting times on that date



  4. Click the meeting time to add it to Selected Detentions

        To remove the meeting time selection move your mouse over the Selected Detention and click on the red area

  5. Click Save to complete the detention assignment
