Vision Database Systems will provide the IDMS software license in a text file.
- Each software license is unique and can only be used with the assigned IDMS workstation.
- The software license file will be named using the PC name on record.
UPDATE THE LICENSE

- Open the txt file in Notepad, select all, then copy the license string into clipboard (Edit > Select All, Edit > Copy)
- Login to IDMS
- Click Help > About
- Click Update License
- Paste the new license (Right Click > Paste) into the Update Software License window
- Click OK
| Paste the software license then click OK
|
- A valid IDMS license will return License was successfully updated
